Angled vent walls

What is the best process to build angled vent walls but still have the top of the arch or vent level in the direction going into the oven.

Do I build my form with to different shaped arches front and back and just let the bricks have a wider mortar gap toward the front?

I am going to bump this for you. I think you are referring to what some call a "flared entry". I was a little intimidated by attempting one. So, I made my reveal large enough to get about the same amount of working room. I had hoped that someone who had tackled one would post. I'm sure that someone can answer your question, though.
