  • Stucco Waterproofer

hi all---- i have stucco'd my igloo and im in the north east. I have bought this waterproof sealer to apply on but just read the directions and it says not to apply when temps drop below 50 degrees for 24 hours.

does anyone know of a water proof sealer that can be applied in colder weather?

i have applied 3 layers of Quikrete bagged stucco. 2 brown coats, 1 finish coat. i have also used a vent at the top to allow any trapped moisture to escape.

    thanks
    Joe

the sealer will most likely dry pretty quick. As long as the temps during application are above 50 degrees, you could put a halogen work light in the dome and cover it with a tarp. The heat will keep the outside warm enough for you. I did that when I applied my elastomeric stucco finish.
