Dome height concern

Hello,
its been a while since ive used this site but im on my second oven and have some concern regarding my dome height. I'm half way up of a 44 inch diameter oven but it seems my dome height is going to end up around 25-26 inches. Could this end up being too high? My door opening is 20" w by 14" high.

I doubt whether you will notice any difference in the way the oven fires or cooks. My experience of adjusting dome height comes from making one of my 21" internal hemispherical ovens with a 2" higher dome. I couldn't notice any difference in the way it fired or cooked. As yours is a little more than double mine, but the height increase around the same, I'm sure it will be fine.Likewise don't get too hung up about adjusting the 63% door height by a few inches either way.
