I built my Pompeii oven with no prior experience using only information from Forno Bravo. I started with the base in October 2014 & finished the oven the following summer. I mainly use the oven to bake bread & less frequently for pizza, bagels & giant pretzels. I usually make a slow-cook type meal like baked beans or ribs the day after firing the oven to use the residual heat.
The purpose of this post is to thank Forno Bravo for being such a great resource for hobby bakers like me. I followed their build publication & got encouragement from many posts in these forums.
