Thanks Joe, I love the curve too. I wanted to do something different and break up all the squareness to everything back there. My Build Pictures

Thanks Randy I'm happy with it so far...I'm going to try and finish the soffit this weekend...and then stone the chimney and flash it. Then finish stoning the rest of it. I ordered a custom limestone arch for the entry so hopefully that gets made soon. Who knows I may have a lot of time since everything is being shutdown for this virus stuff.Originally posted by RandyJ View PostI like it. I can't wait to see the finished product.

The arch is natural limestone and the stone thats on the kitchen is simulated stoneOriginally posted by RandyJ View PostI know i am wondering what is going to happen with the virus situation. I was thinking that I would be going back to work soon. Now i am not as sure. I can't wait to see this arch. That sounds cool. Is the stone real or simulated stone? My Build Pictures

Well the soffit is finished 2 lights in the front and one in the rear to shine on the stone when finished. Just need to stone the chimney and the rest of the enclosure and I can say I'm done.

Looks good. What's your plan for in front of the oven opening?

Thank You. I am having a rock face limestone arch made to border the oven opening and then use the same stone as the base to finish the enclosure.Originally posted by deejayoh View PostLooks good. What's your plan for in front of the oven opening?

What wattage did you go with for the can lights? I assume they are 6" 120v. I am probably the only person foolish enough to rebuild some with landscaping lights just to avoid pulling a permit. Looks great and like you will have plenty of light.

Just saw they clearanced them but they are Patriot Lighting ultra thin 120v 4" recessed lights 60w equivalent. Lithonia makes the same type in their brand but here is what I bought. https://www.menards.com/main/m-3491202.html I originally had 3 in the front but was way to bright so I did 2 in the front which is plenty bright and 1 in the back. I could have done probably 1 but you know us electricians we like it bright. I may put it on a dimmer but not sure how long it will last in the elements even though its in an in use cover. I use Z Wave to control my lights and holiday lights so the dimmer is $38 and I see condensation on the inside of the cover sometimes. I may give it a whirl and see how it goes.Originally posted by RandyJ View PostWhat wattage did you go with for the can lights? I assume they are 6" 120v. Has anybody used a smoke generator to smoke in the oven while using the retained heat. I was thinking about getting a smoke daddy and fabricating a door just for this smoke generator. I would drill the hole for the smoke daddy towards the bottom left of the "smoking door" and then another hole in the top right of the "smoke door" so the smoke has a place to exit to the flue. So in theory the smoke would enter the bottom left and hopefully circulate through and exit the top right hole. Anyone do something like this before or have any ideas. My Build Pictures

Thanks Randy. Well I hope mrchipster still stops by the forum every once and a while. I would love to hear how it worked andnhow he designed his door and see if we are on the same page.
