Kaowool HP

Has anyone ever used Kaowool HP for their insulation I heard about Kaowool M which I don't think is strong enough but what about Kaowool HP it's a stronger version of the M. Here is a spec sheet of the products they have and tell me what you think. http://www.lynnmfg.com/wp-content/up...TC-514-700.pdf I'm trying to get my supplies in order so I can start the dome this spring and this was one of my concerns. Which board to use. Ceramic Fiber board or Calcium Silicate. Any input would be appreciated.

Just priced Thermal 12 Gold from Distibutuon International and its $5.49 sq ft my location is Hammond Indiana...still waiting on the Kaowool HP price
..Also still trying to figure which one I should go with.

For casting your own vermicrete slab a 5:1 is considered about the right strength, so checking its density and compressive strength against your Kaowool boards it looks like the Kaowool M is too soft. Check also the density and strength of the Thermal Gold.

Thanks david s looks like thermal 12 gold can perform pretty well...I believe UtahBeehiver used this board for his insulation also with Foamglas underneath. I plan to mimick that as well. I seen people use different materials for the insulation boards but what is the preferred choice?
