Hi Everybody, I´m from Argentina and after a lot of research in the forum I´m begining my build wich is going to have "adobe " walls.
The floor has refractary bricks layered over a 10 cm insulation (RETAK blocks).
I was looking in many threads how different people resolved the issue of heat loss through the vent floor and arch and im thinking of an alternative to stainless steel tube ..
A firebrick tile (much thinner than the bricks) with tappered edges (see diagram) over an insulating block
Do you think its a good option or it would be better to do it with metal ( I have aluminium or iron)?
Thanks in advance, I learned a lot from the forum!
Luis
