  • Drive to 2010 Expo vs. Shipping = GOOD PLAN!

I came up with a great idea!
Instead of having the kit delivered, (shipping is quite pricy to International Falls, MN) we are considering driving to the Expo in our truck.
We'll purchase the kit there and enjoy a very interesting trip.

We've never seen sites like Mount Rushmore or the Grand Canyon.

We'd also like to see the coast to the British Columbia/WA border, where the Mother in Law lives just a few hours North in the Shuswap area.

Any other ideas on great things to see along the way from Northern Minnesota westward to the Expo would be greatly appreciated.

We'll be traveling from I. Falls, MN to Monterey Bay, Ca!

Gosh I hope we can swing this...
    Take care,
    Ruth

    Hi Ruth,
don't forget to ask for the Expo special pricing also. They usually (or should) do better deals for those attending.

Lake Tahoe would be a good choice.

        Great ideas guys! Thanks.

I've had Google Earth open for hours now. It's a lot fun planning the route.

Any more ideas on places to go, sites to see?

On our move from Anchorage to Oregon, it came clear to me the only acceptable route (a winter trip) should include a stop in Key West for a Margarita (the liquid kind...).

Not all 'best routes' are a straight line...
