  • Pompeii 42" in Burpengary Australia

    Hello all,
After years of talking about it and 12 months of building, I have finished my oven today. I just want to thank Forno Bravo, James and all forum members for this wealth of information. I'm sure without FB, I would have ended up with an oven that I would not have been happy with.

    Thanks
    Glen

Did some more pizza, bread and roast on the weekend. All went OK, but when pizza 5 was to go into the oven, pizza 4 was still in there. Hadn't even been drinking.

There's a valuable lesson to be learned here!

                    Your oven's a beaut!
                    Congrads and enjoy.

Top job Glen well done. The colour in the render looks great. What type of render did you use?

                            Thanks Jayson
To be honest, I don't really remember exactly. It would have been some mix I found on this forum. Buit it is a sand, GP cement and lime mix. I added an oxide from Bunnings and heaps of waterproofing compond (Bondall Silasec). It was easy to work with.
