  • Peels in Utah??

    Hello All,

My son's region champ high school soccer(football) team is coming over this wed for pizza. I need new peels. Our hand made maple did not do well through the winter, warped peels do not work well.

    Help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Derk

Go down to you nearest restaurant supply store and get some new ones. There not that expensive.

One thing to remember. Do not subject wooden peels (or cutting boards) to excessive moisture. They should never be washed with soap and water or left out in the elements, guaranteed to warp if you do.
Been married for 28 yrs, and still remind my wife of this at least once a week. She has ruined countless cutting boards and peels over the years by washing them like dishes and rinsing under running water.

I think if you say they didn't make it through the winter, it sounds like they were left outside (in Utah). Yea RT they don't like water too much.
