  • Temporary waterproofing?

I will most likely not get my roof built before the winter sets in as we had snow on the ground this morning.
If I can get my dome and chimney wrapped with the insulation and covered with wire, will a layer of mortar or stucco on the outside waterproof it for the winter and keep the dome from absorbing moisture?
I want to be able to curre the oven and use it without the roof on it yet.
Probably wont get the roof on until spring time.

Most likely not, most mortar and render isnt water proof.
