Slab
I just poured and extended a new slab to my existing slab , The outside edge footing by my local city code is 8" x 8" , the rest of the slab is 4" . I am going to start building the cbs stand , however I am seeing on the internet that a cbs block 8" x 8" x 16" block should be set on a footing twice the size of the block , ex 16" ....... will I have a problem setting an 8" block on an 8" footing ? I am planning on setting the oven in the far corner of the slab , Please see picture.
