I've been hanging out quietly for a while, gathering knowledge and insight from the awesome builders on the forum. I have most of the materials for my oven project. (Except CalSil board for the hearth) I was all set to go buy the new HF Saw this week so I can start to cut bricks and an opportunity just dropped an "almost free" saw within my reach.

I wanted to get some opinions from the forum - I know folks here have used angle grinders, chisels and such to build beautiful ovens, but I don't see too many "bridge saws".

The pictures that follow show that the head does tilt, so I can bevel my cuts and it has a 10 inch blade - is there any reason to pass on this and go buy a new HF saw?

Thanks in advance!
