What is an HF saw?...never heard that one. But this is some of what I have....

HF (Harbor Freight) is the cheap cheap version of your MK saw. So your golden with your equipment.

Yeah I figured it out shortly after I asked the question. I've had the MK saw for 14 years..it's a good saw. I only have had to replace the switch a couple times...it's used mainly for stone fabrication.
