Cracks......

Hello,

yes I got excited and heated my dome up too quick.

now I have a few cracks, most of them are only hair lines however I have 1 that is a bit bigger

should I worry about these? I haven't insulated yet and was going to render over the insulation.

don't know it this can be right or not but I got my oven up to the point where the soot turned white and I had I running like that for a few hours however I could still touch the outside of my brick! I thought it would get way too hot??

Pictures will help.

Is your oven cured? How large are the cracks? Did they close when your oven cooled off?

Sorry i forgot to take and pictures and i have covered over with mortar in the hopes it helps

My cracks were just like your ones in the dome size etc. i have a few around my arch however they are smaller than yours.
