Fibreglass lasts long. But it develop cracks quickly when exposed to heat

Hi,

Just thought I would share this:

My oven developed cracks over time. To fix this
I used fibreglass set in in very wet heat resistant mortar.
Then "painted" more mortar over the fibreglass.

Has worked a treat. Sorry I did not thake any pictures!
