Tile saw

With all the cutting of FB to be done. I was
Wondering if y'all could post what saws you
Use. Or maybe ones to stay away from? Would
Any wet tile saw work? What are you looking
For in a saw?

I used a Target brick saw that could not have worked any better. I was lucky enough to borrow one from a freind of mine because I think they are pricey.

Target is definitely commercial grade...good saw too.

I used the cheapo 10" Harbor Freight brick saw, mid 200 range and able to do almost all the cuts with a 10". Min 10" saw 14" better, but cost more. Look on Craiglist too. There are several versions of brick jigs out there on the forum, Mr. C has one. Here is pic of mine. They are adjustable to cut a compound cut both taper and bevel at the same time. Do a search for others.

I used a Harbor Freight Saw which I bought for about $250 new and hope to sell for at least $150-! They also had a deal on a cheap blade for about $15- which I thought wouldn't last very long - but it did last for about 90% of the entire build (not only the oven but I also used 1,000 bricks in the surrounding structure and cut at least 10% of them)

I used a wet tile saw as your first post mentioned; I removed the splash guard, tile guide and the tips of two fingers It wasn't ideal, but it worked.
