I completed a new FB WFO this year and love it. I've had three pizza parties of over 20 people each party and all the pizzas were eatable and I think all my guest loved it.
Like most pizza nuts I've met, we're always looking for new and better ways to bake a pizza.l
I like experimenting on different doughs and if I find one I love, I will use it at my next party.
I don't like to fire up my WFO for just one pizza and have been looking for a small grill that will get up to 800 degrees.
I want to simulate my WFO as Closs as possible.
I bought a "petite Pizzeria" counter top pizza oven by NewWave from Amazon for $99.
I wasn't expecting much when it arrived. Most grills will not get to the temps that are promised .
This one works great. After about 15 min. It's up to 750 degrees.
I cooked a pizza yesterday and the stone was 800 degrees.
It's not perfect because the upper and lower heating elements are controlled by only one temp control and the lower element gets hotter than the top. I would like to have a little more heat on top, so I'm thinking about modifying it to turn the bottom element off with a switch at the end of baking cycle and let the top stay on.
