    Re: Tools in Australia

Found a great shop for peels, brass brushes, shovels etc in Preston called Costante Imports. Phone number 03 9484 7948.

Typical Italian all things tomato, wine, pasta, pizza and concrete!

Also just bought a IR termometer on eBay (.au) for $65. Hopefully this will stop my next pizza spontaneously, instantaneously combusting!

I'll post a report on the themometer when it arrives and has been tested. It's an AHJ Mini rated from -40c to 500c

For those in Melbourne who are interested there is a supplier of all things WFO in Dandenong. Including a range of tools.

Also there are some oven supplers in Coburg (of course). I'll check these out during the week.

    cheers

    Hello there!

Got a s/s coal rake and round s/s peel from Field Furnace Refractories in Sydney - they may or may not deliver, check out their website...

Bought am infrared thermometer with laser pointer from a store on ebay.au, search under AHJ Systems. My model is called 8895, and from memory it was under $A150...

No luck so far with a brass brush - bought an interim barbeque brush from BBQs Galore, $A20. Interestingly, the FB shop site lists a brass brush, but doesn't show any...

Let me know if you find one, ta.

    Rgds,

    KMH
