Mike, good addition, yes a blow pipe for blowing ash is another good item. I use a piece of ss tubing but I have seen old golf club shafts used as well.

Here's a link to the "favorite tools" thread that you might find useful. On page 3, post 45 is a pdf I put together with my favorite dozen tools. I have an ash dump/bin for my oven, so I just pull the ash out with my brush and then blow the surface clean with a copper tube (to get rid of any lost bristles). Hope this list helps...

Thank you! What do you use to take out the old ash?

Everyone has their own favs but critical items are a loading peel (which I use a large wood one), a turning peel ( I use a 8-9" SS banjo shape peel) and something to move the coals/ash around (just a old beat up hoe for me). Don't use brass/ss/steel brushes in the oven, there is potential of one of the strands breaking off and getting in food then ingested.

    WFO tools for Primavera 70

I am a newbie and have a Primavera 70 being installed in the next couple of weeks. What are essential WFO tools? Nice-to-have tools? Would really appreciate specific recommendations if the community has opinions on products they absolutely love.
