Looking for "how to build pizza oven" ebooks etc. ( Im making a library )

Found this on flea bay. WHAT THE HECK. NO SUBFLOOR?

I'm just a newb learning.... but isnt this a big no no?

Yes, it's a no-no if you are wanting to do much retained heat cooking. That is one of the "caveat emptors" of looking online or even some of the printed material. I'll give you an example. I like to bake bread. I don't do the volume of someone like SableSprings but have baked bread every week for the last 20 or more years. One of my favorite books is The Bread Builders: Hearth Loaves and Masonry Ovens by Alan Scott and Daniel Wing. It's great book, especially if you want to work with naturally leavened dough, but their oven design is a little dated and does not provide, as example, for underfloor insulation. That said the oven part of the book is entertaining and to me the bread part is essential. I also have a copy of Tartine Bread by Chad Robertson. Chad was actually mentioned in The Bread Builders and although I have not used the recipe part of Tartine Bread much I have had good results following Chad's techniques.

Neither of those books are cheap - I dropped hints and got them both as gifts Not to oversell the forum, but pretty much everything you need to know can be gleaned from the threads.
