Best way to cut limestone for access door? RECIP SAW?

Im drystacking limestone block before I motar them in. Some overhang, causing blockage for storage. How would you cut these pieces of limestone to allow door to fit?

I found these at harbor freight. Recip saw masonry blade

I would use an angle grinder that can cut that thickness of material with a masonary wheel. Brick saw can work as well. Not sure how far you will get with those blades. You can also score the back side with a grinder and tap it with a hammer to get a more natural look.

I second the angle grinder approach. It can cut to a certain depth depending on the blade and then you can of course grind off in scoops until it fits your measurement. It will probably be a rather dusty affair, maybe good to wet the stone prior and wear whatever face mask you can have available.

I think StoneCutter showed in his thread how to cut stone manually without a saw on his original build. Look at his thread, he is top notch stone mason.

Most masons use their mason hammer and score a line where they want the cut they tap a line in it and then turn the hammer around and use the hammer's head and hit the piece that is the waste and break the piece of from the good piece. This gives you a natural cut look. The scoring with the grinder may be easier for you which is essentially the same as using the hammer to score the cut line but a lot easier for a person who doesn't do this everyday. You could try both ways on a piece of scrap. If you use the grinder to score you can also use the hammer to rough up the grinder score cut after you break the stone and you will see no straight cut line. Hope that makes sense.
