Oven Floor Vermiculite Insulation HELP

Hi all..I recently started construction on an oven a couple weeks ago and I am looking for some advice about vermiculite insulation for underneath the oven floor.

Does it matter what kind i buy> I see many that are meant for gardening but is that okay? Does the grade of matter? Has anyone tried a 50/50 mix of perlite and vermiculite?

The garden variety is ok. Fine grade is more workable, but it requires a little more water in the mix which needs to be eliminated so I go for medium grade.
