Chimney

Hello everyone,

After a lot of thinking and planning, I will finally build my first outdoor oven! After sketching everything out and listing every material needed, I ran into a problem...
I have seen a lot of ovens, but some have their door in front of the chimney and others have it behind them.

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons?

from my small research I have decided to put chimney in front and have the door retain heat once fire is out.
