    Is this perlite ok to use and what if I wanted to insulate my dome after I have done my ceramic fiber blanket wrap can I still use the same mix ratio.

    Click image for larger version  Name:	Vcrete K values.JPG Views:	0 Size:	159.3 KB ID:	440450 5 perlite to 1 portland cement is the recommended ratio for floor insulation, a min of 4" thick.

    Horticultural perlite

    Hi guys I'am an issue with the perlite that I bought for my oven insulation it said horticulture on it and I wanted to know if I could use it to mix with cement to make an insulation under the fire brick. Any ideas or advice will be greatly apreciated.
