Could I build a pizza oven with these bricks

Before I buy these bricks I thought I should check if I could make a pizza oven using them.
I would like to use them for the floor and they have cavities in them. I was planning on placing them on their side for the base but that would mean there would be (hidden) cavities together within the base as the sides have cavities. Would that be ok?
