    Another twist on the IT tool that I've seen is to use a length of plastic conduit. Being somewhat flexible is will hold the brick in place, but if bent it automatically shortens enough to move the holding bracket out of the way without without disturbing the brick. when the bending pressure is released it simply returns to its original length ready for the next brick.

      That is much better than the previous IT version. The spacers on the inside of the dome are probably not necessary. It would be good if you posted the IT pic in your main construction thread so other members can see it when following your build.
