  • Dome to door ratio too small due to not lowering IT base...what to do?

This is my first post here...I have discovered this forum a bit late in my project but it is a fantastic resource! I just finished the dome build and realized at the very end of the dome building process that due to not insetting the IT into the floor, the dome to door ratio is closer to .5 than .63. The question is, can I just leave it as is, or should I cut/grind the door to give it a bit more height? If I do raise the door height, does it need to be all the way across the arch, or just a few inches in the middle? Dome height is 18.5", door height is 9.5". Thanks for all of your expertise!

Don’t worry about it. It won’t make much difference to how the oven will perform.
