    Thanks everyone for the support.

It looks like in the new year I will add a new feature - Expansion joint(s). I will let the oven settle in a few months first.

    Cheers,

    Steve

Agree. Brissie you've done well. Now enjoy the spoils. think I might keep curing mine until after New year. Still getting some moisture on plastic but it takes some time for this to happen. Allowing it to cool until tomorrow ess around 100c when I got back from trip no door in place.

Christmas, turkey and ham prep and cooking. We did Jamie Oliver's stuffing Roast Turkey & Cranberry Stuffing | Turkey Recipes | Jamie Oliver Recipes , and a marmalade glaze for the ham.

Oven at 200 c at the start.

Started a fire again to crisp up the ham and potatoes towards the end of the cook.

Cooked Pizza in the afternoon, the kids enjoyed the spa, and pizza. My son made a second batch of dough.

I can't show any pizza, as it was eaten as soon as it was made.

                        Breakfast for the hangover

Leftover ham and potatoes, with eggs and spicy roasted capsicum (peppers) relish in the bottom of the dish.

That looks so good ! A successful WFO party You managed to do so much with the one oven, you are already a veteran, well done!.I especially love the brekky hangover cure too.
We had a chrissy party too and managed to make a good amount of pizza's on the day.It definately brings a new dimension to a party. The thing is it was raining all day here in Sydney aswell but it didnt dampen our spirits one bit .
Im guessing many a good time will be spent using them.

                            Keep on keeping on!
                            Regards John.

                              nicejob Brissie. looks yummy

I will post photo's of my Xmas food later. I ran my fire the whole time as I didn't have a sealing door had 5 pans in there all doing there thing.

Oh BTW love your setting. Looks like all had a ball. In the one photo looked like everyone needed to post Xmas nap.
I checked my oven tonight when I got home with my temp wooden door covered in alfoil only to keep temp in oven. It was still at 200c tonight am amazed how well these things keep the heat.

Cooked a tortano out of Pizza dough.

I do need to replace the current 5 piece door.

It's a great to use up leftover's, and tastes great. I let the dough rise again for 2 hours, after placing in the tin.
