  • World wide wood?

This forum being world wide shows the
Stuggles some have in finding proper wood
For their ovens. As before I thought shipping
Pallets might be an idea, but in some country's
There are treated I'm told? In my research I was
Drawing a blank until a family cool out. My
Brother in law bought this at Sam club.

I read the lable and there is no chemicals added.
This if in your area could be a great idea for your oven?

    G'day Bubb
Sorry bud you drawn another blank. Charcoals not hot enough for general use, great for drying a damp oven, great for Tuscan grills, but generally no.
For me it doesn't meet on other important factor, it's not free!
All the wood that has gone through my oven over the years I have never used "store bought"
To date I've burnt, 2 house renovations, a church demolition, the results of a house block clearing, an advocardo tree and numerous forays to local parks and bush land. Never had to use my beer allowance to date.
I think that were ever you are in the world, transport the main thing . If you can load it up and get rid of it for someone its yours!
    Regards Dave.

Never use treated or coated/finished wood, so bowling alley floors are a no go. Find raw untreated wood and burn away. It will take you more than 10 bags of that to get to proper temps for a WFO.

Never use heat treated pallets! They are coated with cyanide sulphate! And WILL harm your health.
Where can I find logs? I need more!
Finishing the WFO will come after the barn is completed http://flinthousebarn.co.uk/
