Yeah, we see you tuber builders come to us after the fact wondering why this or that does not work, at that point in time there is not much that can be done. There are some really bad and misleading youtube videos out there, especially p or v crete main domes on a yoga ball. Glad to see you found the forum before you headed too far down the rabbit hole. Plus we want all builders, no matter what their budgets are, to be successful. We are NOT after "subscriptions" or "likes"

I am going to be honest I was a you tube university specialist till I found this site... you tube is way way off... there so much more to it... I am so glad I found FB... you guys have really steered me in the right direction... thanks to you, home brew is my absolute savior in Hawaii.. and all the thoughtful tips and sure they’ll be more to come.. I want to say thank you... especially to Russel and David s... and to all the other wfo builders... thanks for sharing your journey and being so helpful... Merry Christmas and all the best in 2021..

You should Mark... it’s awesome... do you surf? Hawaiian airlines had a cheap direct flight for 865$ round trip prior to Covid... we have a very big yard and you could always tent camp at my place to save some coin.. I found in my travels the kiwi good folks and have much in common with the Hawaii culture.. ki Ora

That's a bit long distance! Piha is lovely. Sounds like you have a lovely job though! Have you ever been to J-Bay (Jefferies Bay) on the East Coast of South Africa? Great surfing beach.

    Aloha Boogie-D here from hawaii

Aloha my name is David but all my friends call me Boogie-D.... I live in the Hawaiian islands on Oahu’s famous North Shore in a small town called Haleiwa... I live on a beautiful off grid farm in a old plantation house built prior to plumbing and electricity.... I enjoy the off grid life and restoring the historic Hawaiian communal farm lands that I live on... the passion of boogie boarding brought me to the north shore but now my focus is the farm and off grid living.. my next project for the farm is building a outdoor kitchen and wood fired pizza oven.... I have been studying you tube... this forum... and everything I can find and learn about the subject... thank you for your commitment to the subject here.... this is my first post... of course being in Hawaii has a lot of challenges especially with fire brick and refractories... but there are some options... so without further a due... let’s get going... I’ll be asking some specific questions on posts that I have been reading... after I figure things out more I will start my build post.... thanks ahead of time for all your help and all you do... aloha... Boogie-D
Working...
