Two weeks ago I completed the construction of its summer kitchen. Oven painted with a mixture of 50 volume percent milk with 4.7% fat, 50 percent of egg protein. It took about a liter of milk and 35 eggs. Mayonnaise made from egg yolks.
The costs for materials and hired labor amounted to approximately 250 000 RUR (3,700 USD).
10 days for the construction of the foundation, purchase of materials.
55 days for the construction of wooden frame structures.
44 days for the construction of the furnace.
Fantastic craftsmanship and a very beautiful finish. I am very intrigued by the milk, eggs and mayonnaise. It is a very nice satin finish. But, Is there some kind of preservative added?

Thanks, Gulf!
I did not add any preservatives. For painting ovens used only egg whites and milk. The egg whites were used in ancient times for solutions and houses still stand. The next year, I'll post a photo of the furnace after the autumn-winter season.
Mayonnaise (from egg yolks) used only for salads. THE OVEN DOES NOT PAINT BY THEM!!!
I second Gulf on your timber frame and brick craftsmanship. Have followed your build from day one. I was in your country earlier this year (St. Petersburg area) and found people are people no matter what country you are in and you get treated like you treat people. Several of your countrymen/women help us get around, order food at restaurants, etc. since our command of the Russian language was really limited. Again, congrats on the fabulous build. PS, I am reviewing you suggestion on a copper cap for the chimney base. On my "B" list.
Thanks, UtahBeehiver. Unfortunately it is not timberframe. This is a very labor-intensive technology. I used the metal parts to connect the boards. In the classic timberframe used wooden pins.
What a great job Valentin. Excellent workmanship and your attention to detail is rewarded in the quality of the finished project. Congratulations on an inspirational build.
