fire brick identification

Hi, recently I found some old bricks that I would like to use on my small pizza oven. I'm not 100% sure if these are fire bricks and would like assistance in confirming if they are or aren't firebricks. They are heavy and are white to a pale orange in color. The surface is not totally smooth so I'm not too sure if they are fire bricks.

They look like firebricks, but it's very hard to know for sure, from a photo.

Mark, They break like a firebrick should also, they don't crumble. I have a cross section of some bricks I had to cut. I will post a picture once I have a chance.

You could cut a 1” end off a brick and put it in a hot fire for and hour and see what happens.

Here's a cross section, to me it looks heady duty firebrick, can someone please confirm?

It does look like firebrick. What happens if you heat it up with a blowtorch?

I actually just put it in my pizza oven I built and it does keep heat, I just wanted to make sure it was the right thing.
