I wouldn't. The dust will kill the motor. DeWalt is a good saw you want to keep for years. For cutting firebrick, buy a disposable "beater" saw that you don't mind breaking.

Look for my thread on the cheap harbor freight chop saw I bought. $50 (half price, but still worth it at $100) and it still runs. Uses consumable abrasive blades. Loud, dusty. Use ear, eye, and breathing protection. After you build the dome you can use it to cut steel studs for framing the enclosure.
