So I just have a quick couple questions for anyone and everyone. What is your vent landing length and why did you decide on it? I noticed that the FB Pompeii oven plans say a 6" vent landing (if I remember correctly) but it doesn't seem like that is a number many have stuck to or followed. I understand you don't want the landing to be too long because that will make it too hard to potentially reach the back of the oven but I also want a fair amount of space on the landing. What are your thoughts/suggestions/concerns/snide remarks?
