  • Wall thickness?

Hello everyone! I am interested in building a 36 inch dome pizza oven. I am only going to use it for cooking pizzas. My question is, can I place my bricks so that the walls are only 2 1/2 inches thick instead of 4.5 inches? I want to do this to minimize my heat up time and the amount of wood required. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, Davis

    Gudday
Check out "oven in wheels" in the other oven types section . Micks oven is 2 1/2 in pavers just for that reason. If you post a question he is sure to give you an answer.

        wotavidone,

Thanks for your input. I enjoyed reading about your build and I liked the way that it turned out. Good job! I should start to build mine in a week or two, no time line though. I will post some pictures once I have some progress. Thanks again, Davis
