  • UL Listing

Pop the champagne. We've done it. The Modena W series, the Casa, Premio and Ristorante are officially UL Listed to UL737 and UL2162 (the newest, most stringent standard). You can see the listing here:

http://etlwhidirectory.etlsemko.com/...OpenForm&Seq=1 then, type in Forno Bravo.

I can't tell you how happy and excited I am. The listing is good for FB, it's good for our customers and it's good for the community -- this brings a new level of security to installing a wood-fired oven, particularly in terms of building and fire safety.

There are only a tiny number of ovens that have passed UL2162, and even the few competitors who have passed UL in the past have not re-tested to the new standard. We're setting the new benchmark.

There is a little more work to do on a couple of models. We are finalizing NSF (sanitation) for restaurant use on the Ristorante, and we are still working on the Modena G -- the gas burner portion. We will have those finalized shortly.

Drink a toast for us (all of us) tonight!

James - is the cert like in electronics where they have to do frequent audits on the manufacturer? And demand extortion money to do so.

Exactly. Spot factory visits, tight specifications, huge costs, etc. The whole thing. :-)

        Congratulations!

Its fascinating to see how fast Forno Bravo is growing, even just in the couple of months since I've joined... keep it up!
