Pop the champagne. We've done it. The Modena W series, the Casa, Premio and Ristorante are officially UL Listed to UL737 and UL2162 (the newest, most stringent standard). You can see the listing here:
http://etlwhidirectory.etlsemko.com/...OpenForm&Seq=1 then, type in Forno Bravo.
I can't tell you how happy and excited I am. The listing is good for FB, it's good for our customers and it's good for the community -- this brings a new level of security to installing a wood-fired oven, particularly in terms of building and fire safety.
There are only a tiny number of ovens that have passed UL2162, and even the few competitors who have passed UL in the past have not re-tested to the new standard. We're setting the new benchmark.
There is a little more work to do on a couple of models. We are finalizing NSF (sanitation) for restaurant use on the Ristorante, and we are still working on the Modena G -- the gas burner portion. We will have those finalized shortly.
Drink a toast for us (all of us) tonight!
