Not really (pending on what you are planning on cooking) if it is pizza I would spread the fire out and let it go until the most of the dome clears then move the fire to one side brush the hearth and wait for 30mins or so for the oven to rest and equalise then start cooking.
Just to add a bit. After you do the above check the floor. I found you want it to be 700 - 750 for pizza.
