So tempting to use the nail gun all round but I know it would be a nightmare to get frame out pre drilled and screwed most joists

just got the tools out and the heavens open just my look the only day i get chance to play all week and it looks like its in for the day(

yes gulf some old telegraph poles they are going to form a qaurter circle roof over my build got 2 more to put at front for radius a bargain buy at ?30 for 30 ft lengths my hearth slab is going to be 6 inch so with my opening only 30 inch at the smallest point i think im just going to cast over without the lintel i will put plenty of re bar over the span and vibrate all the concrete when poured do you think this will be surfice

Great start! It looks like you have added some posts to support a cover.
How thick is your hearth slab going to be. Can you post a pic of how you are doing the lintel over the wood storage?

hi steve yes my view is great i only moved here in january and already seen a vast amount of wildlife on there should set a good scene for my plans got a little grip of the photo posting just cant seem to post more than one at a time il get here though thanks for your interest lee
