  • The last Brick!

I finished my foundation / hearth brick this weekend. I could have saved a few days if I avoided the 45 degree wall. I put in 32 bricks on Tuesday only to rip them out - did not like the way it was looking. There definitely is an art to masonry!
The next step is to get my gas barbecue running, 10 pallets of pavers down, then the oven. A lot of work to be done but at least I am making progress.

I will second that, Nick. I didn't stop hearing it until I put the doors on the wood storage......now the question is, "where do you cook the pizza"???

Mitered corners are a pain but look at the result that looks like a million bucks, very nice work.

Thanks for the complement guy?s. Truth be told, I think I?m a better photographer than a mason. It?s easier to work with angles and lighting than brick.
