Now for some action.
I added more chicken wire and mortar..
I finally closed it in.
And let me tell you, I think it felt better than placing the keystone!
The first pic is what the top looked like. I added more vermiculite for extra insulation.Last edited by asudavew; 06-22-2008, 10:17 AM.

I've said it before, but one thing your falling bricks do show is how stable these domes really are... even if you loose a brick or two (or four ), the dome doesn't just tumble down, and you can fix it.
