Can I use both the wife and thin style fire brick to build the pizza dome

I am running short on fire brick, but had a mix of the thin half bricks and full bricks. Am I able to build the dome with both sizes? Or at least do the soldier row with the thin, I might be able to finish it. Check out the pictures of what I have going in...32” cooking surface, thick fire brick floor, insulated hearth below, on a concrete slab.

Also does a common store like Lowe’s or Home Depot carry a normal red or other color brick that is the same size as a standard large fire brick.

I’ve not seen any standard clay brick in the fire brick proportions at hardware stores. Brick yards do cary many sizes, but I have not tried to match the fire brick.

im not sure on using the splits. My gut tells me it’d be more prone to cracking, but I do not know.
