42" low dome build in Holland

I am now so far that the dome is closed. Now filling the joints with mortar and start with the blanket.

How does the steel band in that position support the outward thrust on the walls? All low dome Neopolitan ovens I’ve seen have the band running around the outside of the soldier course.

The band you see is the angeld Iron. There will be a band around ofcourse.
