      Hi Greg
The oven is really taking shape, it looks great. I can't believe how clean it is.
Your joints look tight, nice work. I had 13 rows + cork .... Go figure, It must be an Italian thing

13 may be the correct answer. The cuts were getting a little crazy so I opted for a larger plug.

Greg, the dome is looking great! I just ran out to count my rings & forgot I put the insulation on an hour ago. Needed a flashlight to count 12 bricks high but I had the full soldier course around the floor and an 6-7" plug.
Thanks for posting the good example of a good way to get your brick tappers!

Very nice brick work, it's really exciting at this point, it closes up fast although it oddly feels like forever. Dino

Greg, you mentioned in the tool thread that passing it around was an option. Just wondering if you'd still consider it? If so, I'd gladly pay what you payed to get my hands on it when you are done. I'd of course return the favor when I was done.

Happy to pass it along. I will add your name to my list. When I finish, I will work my way down the list and see who is ready next.

                  Hey Greg,
I thought that you were going to finish it up after I left. I got the wine racks installed then depleted my supply appropriately. Thanks for the hands on instruction.
The brick work looks excellent ( especially the last course). Thanks again for the time and guidance. Let me know when you get the fire up to 500-600 degrees, I will bring some bread and wine.

                          Thanks, Mitch

Last night I could see the end of the dome in sight....unfortunately I also saw the end of the Mortar Bag !!! ARGGHHH. James, another order of Mortar please . Mortar seems to be the Pizza oven equivalent of Beer, never seem to have enough on hand.

Anyway, thought I'd be able to finish it over the 4th but now I gotta wait for the FEDEX guy to bring me my next fix.

Here are the shots of unfinished 10th row.

                          So close.

Lookin really good! I'm using the mortar recipe and I was looking at my bag of sand today and wondering if I'd make it through the weekend.. sucks to run out eh? Luckily I ordered plenty of fireclay.. the rest is readily available at my local box store.
