Yep rake some coals over the top and then rake aside a few minutes later and then I brush the floor with the wet mop.

I use a pizza peel with a flat leading edge. Way more effective than a brush.

that's what brass is, copper and zinc
Neill, agreed - but Wyatt said he had a copper brush, they are two different things. That's like saying hydrogen is water. I thought all the oven brushes were brass?

    Hi Wyatt,

Glad to have you here. How's the Daltons and Virgil?

I find a blow pipe is a far more effective tool than a brush. You can also use it as a poker and to reignite the flame if it dies

    Wyatt Earp,
that's what brass is, copper and zinc, ideal for that application.
I have gone through 2 natural bristle brushes without setting them alight, but there is no other alternatives.

    Cheers.

    Oven Brush

I bought a Copper brissle brush from Forno Bravo. Now I want to buy a smaller hand held brush for cleaning within arms reach. Problem is the only brushes I can find are brass. Will this work? Or should I buy another Copper brush?
Working...
