Dome Installation Video - Casa / Premio / Modena

Hello,

For many of you who bought a modular oven, you may have asked how we put the domes together when we build them. For those of you considering one of our ovens, we shot a video to make your install easier.

Check it out on our You Tube Channel.

If the link doesn't work, simply go to You Tube and type Forno Bravo Channel. The video title is How to Set your Forno Bravo Oven Dome Pieces.

Thanks for participating in our Forum. We will have more video content available soon.

  • Indispensable tool design

I'm finally ready to start building my dome, so need to build an IT (unless someone has one they're willing to part with (I'm lazy and busy)). I've found enough designs to get the general idea for how they work but are there any non-obvious things I should be keeping in mind?

There are some really good threads on building of the IT, but the two things that come to my mind are making sure the rod/stick/tube part of the IT connects to the brick locating L bracket at the brick centerline, and understanding how the location of the centers of rotation (around the dome) and pivot (up and down) effects the size and shape of the dome.

Thanks! I'll put some more time into research tomorrow. I think that some combination of my idiocy and the subpar search functions on this site keep me from readily finding what I'm looking for most of the time.

Is the thread where the term was coined (albeit I misspelled indispensable with my first post)

            jcg31,

Long time no see, as you can see, your IT thread is still a core baseline used by many builders.
