    jcg31,

Long time no see, as you can see, your IT thread is still a core baseline used by many builders.

Try using google with a site search limiter Syntax: site:community.fornobravo.com search terms

There are some really good threads on building of the IT, but the two things that come to my mind are making sure the rod/stick/tube part of the IT connects to the brick locating L bracket at the brick centerline, and understanding how the location of the centers of rotation (around the dome) and pivot (up and down) effects the size and shape of the dome.

    Indispensable tool design

I'm finally ready to start building my dome, so need to build an IT (unless someone has one they're willing to part with (I'm lazy and busy)). I've found enough designs to get the general idea for how they work but are there any non-obvious things I should be keeping in mind?
