Sketch-Up: How can I access my old plans?

My laptop died and I lost the version of sketchup I had...

The new version doesn't recognise the file type that it saved them as - anyone come across this problem, or better yet, have a solution?

Figured out my problem... it was FreeCAD that JR put me onto...duh.
