  • Sealing Ingloo around Dura-Tech Chimney?

I planning on wrapping the perlite concrete around the Dura Tech chimney pipe. How is the best way to seal joint? I will cover the oven with a stucco product and sealant. This is a pacific northwest oven and rain is always in the forecast!!! I have storm collar for the chimney pipe but think will look bad. Any techniques or advice is welcome.
The space between the brick arches in front will be filled with perlite concrete and the entire front will have a stone veneer.
    Cheers,

hi jr, i would just seal with some heat stop. or whatever mixture of fire mortar you are using. the joint will be covered and surrounded in perlite wont it ? As far as the storm cap, why dont you put a cap you like and just make a cover for when you wont be using the oven for extended periods... (which wont be often believe me) Good luck..
